It was a lovely sunny day yesterday, and Harold ma It was a lovely sunny day yesterday, and Harold made the most of it with just one little smudge on his sheet. Harold has worked so hard, and traveled miles for his lessons but was willing to do what it needed to get the result that he wanted. Driving on the wrong side of the road was definitely an adventure to start with, but he persevered and maintained the high driving standard he already had - just did everything on the other side! Today, Milestones has the pleasure of celebrating Today, Milestones has the pleasure of celebrating Jacob, having achieved a well deserved full driving licence. Jacob was determined therefore receiving a FIRST time PASS 𝑨 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑱𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒃’𝒔 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚: Jacob, a keen biker, was involved in a road traffic accident when a car driver failed to make effective observations at a junction and pulled out into his path. The consequences of this accident changed Jacob’s life entirely; previously independent, he is now paralysed from the chest down and requires lifelong care. While this remains an incredibly challenging journey, Jacob has worked hard to regain his independence. He continued to ride by gaining a bike licence in Oct 2024, and now rides an adapted trike. 𝕋𝕠 𝕥𝕠𝕡 𝕚𝕥 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕠𝕗𝕗, 𝕙𝕖 𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕟𝕖𝕕 𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕗𝕦𝕝𝕝 𝕕𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕝𝕚𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕤𝕖 𝕥𝕠𝕕𝕒𝕪. There is no holding some people down. We are so proud of this achievement!
